Adoption and Commencement of Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme 2014 (Major Amendment) No. 24 – Additional South East Queensland Regional Plan 2017 (SEQRP) Sites and Other Zoning Matters

Council adopted the Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme 2014 (Major Amendment) No. 24 – Additional South East Queensland Regional Plan 2017 (SEQRP) Sites and Other Zoning Matters on 28 April 2022.

The purpose of this amendment is to:
  • make zoning changes and local plan area boundary changes relating to specific sites, located at Landsborough, Chevallum and Forest Glen, in order to:
  • respond to changes to the Urban Footprint under the ShapingSEQ South East Regional Plan 2017; and
  • better reflect existing development approvals or desired future land uses.
  • amend local plan provisions, where relevant, to provide more detailed planning outcomes in response to zoning and local plan boundary changes; and
  • amend the urban growth management boundary to reflect zoning and local plan area boundary changes.

The amendment took effect on and from Monday, 16 May 2022.
A copy of the amendment is available for inspection or purchase at Council’s Development Information Counter located at 10 First Avenue, Maroochydore or can be viewed and downloaded from Council’s website.
