Construction pause for the holidays
|
We want everyone to enjoy the beauty of Moffat Beach and support local cafés and shops during the festive season. We’re pausing construction from 19 December 2025 to 5 January 2026.
- The beach in front of the central and eastern seawalls and the Queen of Colonies car park will remain open during this time.
- The large rock stockpile area on the western beach near the cottonwood trees has been reinstated as public beach space – ready for you to enjoy over Christmas.
We’ll keep you updated as works resume on 5 January 2026.
