Planning scheme policy amendment takes effect
- Planning Scheme Policy for Development Works
Council adopted the Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme 2014 (Planning Scheme Policy Amendment) No. 23 – Planning Scheme Policy for Development Works on 29 April 2021.
The purpose of this amendment is to:
- update the standards, specifications and procedures to guide the design, construction and delivery of new development asset infrastructure and works, including roads, stormwater, landscaping and recreation infrastructure;
- update references and guidelines in the planning scheme policy;
- delete redundant water and sewer specifications;
- include a new section for the delivery of local parks; and
- make other consequential or administrative amendments.
The amendment took effect on and from 24 May 2021.
A copy of the amendment is available for inspection or purchase at Council’s Development Information Counter located at 10 First Avenue, Maroochydore or can be viewed and downloaded from Council’s website www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/planningscheme.
