Council adopted the Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme 2014 (Local Government Infrastructure Plan Amendment) No. 15 on 14 June 2018.

 

The purpose and general effect of the amendment is to replace the existing Priority Infrastructure Plan contained in the planning scheme with a Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) that complies with the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 and Statutory Guideline 03/14 Local government infrastructure plans. The LGIP identifies Council’s plans for trunk infrastructure that is necessary to service urban development at the desired standard of service in a coordinated, efficient and financially sustainable manner.

 

The amendment took effect on and from 29 June 2018.
