Basketball half court proposal

Mount Gul'um Park, Mount Coolum

Sunshine Coast Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed basketball half court at Mount Gul’um Park, Mount Coolum.

The proposed basketball half court would be situated on the northern side of the park. We have carefully selected this location to:

ensure a visual connection with the existing picnic tables
keep the remainder of the park open for other community activities and uses.

Other proposed improvements include an extension to the roadside garden area, additional shade trees and a new bench seat.
